Professional Support to the Wind Industry
Early in April, SafetyOn and G+ Global Offshore Wind Health and Safety Organisation, in partnership with the Energy Institute, held a Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR) workshop in Glasgow. The objective was to identify improvement opportunities in the UK deployment of the WTSR, and to develop a pathway to achieving success around those opportunities.
Attending the workshop, Ryan Penman of Realise Energy Services commented,
“The day involved fantastic sessions consisting of engagement, interaction and shared knowledge on all things WTSR, and challenged all those operating in the sector to continuously improve health and safety in the onshore wind industry.
“Our membership commitment to SafetyOn allows us to progress our goal of improving the health and safety culture across the business and continuing to strive towards industry best practice in the sector” he added.
